Help a Neighbor Make a Home: Donate Essential Items
Truly, There’s No Place Like Home — the place where we feel strong, stable, and safe.
Some items are essential to making a home. You can help prevent homelessness and provide comfort with a donation of essential items. Here’s how in two simple steps:
- Choose items from one of these wish lists*:
-
- Commonly Requested Items
- Emergency Supplies for People Living Outdoors
- School Supplies (needed all year long, especially in September!)
- Have these items delivered directly to Impact NW and our staff will make sure the items you donate get into the hands of a family who could really use them.
*Items on these lists were directly requested by the people we serve or Impact NW program staff.
Do you prefer a more hands on approach? Impact NW can accept the following items at our Dancing Tree location Monday through Thursday:
- New clothing and other personal items for children and adults
- New household items like pots & pans, small kitchen appliances, cleaning supplies, etc.
- New school supplies including lunch boxes, backpacks, calculators, etc.
Why New items? Impact NW is not set up to process used items efficiently or effectively. To donate your gently used and still useful items, please consider Do Good Multnomah.
