Impact NW Receives Grants for Parents & Children Impacted by Domestic Violence
Dozens more families in our community, who are impacted by domestic violence, will receive services, thanks to two new grant awards. The grants from Verizon Hopeline and the Oregon Department of Justice Crime Victims’ Services will help parents and their children heal their relationships after domestic violence. Impact NW uses a best practice model that creates positive outcomes for young children affected by domestic violence and builds resiliency in both children and parents who have been exposed to domestic violence.
“We are so grateful to have two more partners in our efforts to help families heal after domestic violence,” says Jeff Cogen, Impact NW’s Executive Director. “Thank you to Verizon Hopeline and the Oregon Department of Justice Crime Victims’ Services for investing in this powerful program.”
