First Item Deliveries for No Place Like Home!

Last week we kicked off No Place Like Home to connect our most vulnerable neighbors with the essential items they need to remain stable in their own homes, both now and long after COVID-19 has passed.
And we’ve already begun to receive hundreds of pounds of items and food!
Impact NW’s team at Woodmere Elementary distributed 53 food boxes to families in need last week.
All children and their families should have access to healthy food. It is a basic human right and evidence shows that students with access to nutrition do better academically.
We know that many students get their main source of food at school and as a result of school closures due to COVID-19 those meals and other essential items have become even more lacking for vulnerable families.
Impact NW continues to meet the needs of our most vulnerable community members.
