Healthy Families is intended to enrich and help to support our region’s youngest and most vulnerable members.
Having a child brings big changes to your life. Everyone having a baby could use extra support. This is why the Healthy Families program is here.
Nuestro programa Healthy Families conecta a las familias con las herramientas y los recursos que necesitan para ayudar a que sus recién nacidos crezcan sanos, felices y listos para aprender.

Healthy Families is free and voluntary, and serves all Multnomah County families with no income or insurance requirements. We work closely with parents of newborns through a series of home visits to:
- promover relaciones positivas entre padres e hijos
- apoyar el crecimiento y desarrollo de la infancia saludable
- mejorar el sistema de apoyo familiar al enseñar a los padres a identificar fortalezas y utilizar habilidades para resolver problemas
Brindamos información sobre el desarrollo infantil y el cuidado infantil, exámenes gratuitos para asegurar que cada bebé esté sano y conexiones con servicios de apoyo en su comunidad.
