Stability Persists: Resource Desks Responding to the Increased Need

As a result of the numerous challenges and uncertainties to arise from the COVID-19 crisis, our Community Resource Desks in partnership with Providence Y tế & Dịch vụ have seen an increase in service requests.

In spite of the uptick, our ongoing partnership with Providence and the adaptability of our staff at the Community Resource Desks allow us to meet the direct needs of our community’s most vulnerable members.

“We have multiple satellite resource desks embedded in Providence Health & Services hospital locations across the Portland Metro area. Impact NW staff assist patients with finding stabilizing resources, such as applying for health insurance and other essential needs.” – Says Program Coordinator, Diana Marquez. 

By partnering with Providence Health & Services, we are able to meet the direct needs of thousands of our most vulnerable community members, especially during this challenging time.
