Our Neighbors Need Us, More Than Ever
March 19, 2020
Dear Friends,
During this challenging and uncertain moment in time, all of us here at Impact NW hope that you, your family and friends are safe and healthy. Like you, we are navigating the stress and challenges of the moment as we remain committed to the health, strength and stability of our community.
For the past 54 years, Impact NW has rallied our community in support of our most vulnerable. So, at this critical moment in history, we are again uniting our community to care for one another, as highlighted in this Oregonian article:
- All of our programs and services continue to operate even though facilities are closed to the public. Our employees have used their ingenuity and creativity to find ways to continue to serve people while keeping themselves and their families safe.
- We are cancelling our Annual Luncheon, scheduled for April 20th, to focus our energies on the people who are turning to us for help.
You can join with us in supporting our community, especially our most vulnerable neighbors. Please consider a пожертвование, if you are able, to help support people whose lives have been disrupted. Thousands of people are losing work. They are turning to us for support. Let’s make sure that we are there for them, as we always have been.
As always, thank you for your friendship and support. Please feel free to continue to reach out to me with your thoughts. I’d love to hear from you, and I will be sure to stay in touch about how things are going.
Stay safe and healthy,
Andy Nelson,
Executive Director
