Matt’s Story

November 2, 2022

Matt and his family, including three adopted kids, saw their income plummet. Both he and his husband lost work. “It left us in a position where without INW’s help, we would probably be homeless,” Matt says.

Facing medical bills, back rent and isolation, they found stability in Impact NW. Case managers helped them connect with support for rent and food, plus academic support for the kids.

“Impact NW prevents people from losing their children and becoming homeless,” Matt says. ”They helped us stabilize when we would have otherwise not been able to make it through.”
