Impact NW has been raising our voice for housing justice and fair wages. We\u2019re proud to share these Impact NW\u2019s advocacy highlights for the year.<\/h5>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n

Meet the Candidates<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To further our advocacy, we\u2019ve been building a foundation of connection with existing and newly elected City and County officials:<\/p>\n

  • City and County leaders participated in our spring and fall\u00a0Meet the Candidates<\/strong>\u00a0meetings in 2024.<\/li>\n
  • In 2025, we continued to work with elected officials and hosted\u00a0Candace Avalos<\/strong>, City Councilor and Chair of the Homelessness and Housing Committee,\u00a0Angelita Morillo<\/strong>, City Councilor, and County Commissioner\u00a0Shannon Singleton\u00a0<\/strong>at site visits of Impact NW services.<\/li>\n
  • We are working with the office of\u00a0Mayor Wilson\u00a0<\/strong>and County Commissioner\u00a0Julia Brim-Edwards<\/strong>\u00a0to tour the site this fall and will be setting more appointments with other City and County leaders this year.<\/li>\n
  • We look forward to meeting all the candidates in\u00a0upcoming elections<\/strong>\u00a0in 2026, including City Council and County Districts, as well as Metro Chair and the County Chair.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
