Es un recordatorio para nosotros en Impact NW de que hay historias hermosas entre el trabajo que hacemos.<\/p>\n<p>Este mes recibimos una emotiva carta que quer\u00edamos compartir con ustedes, \u00a1justo a tiempo para el D\u00eda de San Valent\u00edn!<\/p>\n<p>Jim es un cliente s\u00e9nior al que ayudamos anteriormente despu\u00e9s de perder a su esposa durante 44 a\u00f1os. Necesitaba ayuda para encontrar alojamiento y organizar sus cuentas. Un Impacto NW <a href=\"https:\/\/impactnw.org\/main-navigation\/programs\/seniors-adults-with-disabilities\/\">Servicios para personas mayores<\/a> el defensor ayud\u00f3 a Jim a navegar a trav\u00e9s de estas decisiones y lo hizo instalarse donde est\u00e1 hoy.<\/p>\n<p>Lea la carta de Jim a continuaci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Estimado impacto NW,<\/p>\n<p>La vida es bella y solo porque ustedes vinieron a mi vida en la hora m\u00e1s tr\u00e1gica cuando mi esposa de 44 a\u00f1os pas\u00f3 dormida. Tus brazos se abrazaron y me abrazaron para siempre, al parecer. Estabas all\u00ed cuando te necesitaba.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Ustedes en Impact NW son los que me ayudaron a encontrar mi nuevo hogar y \u00a1qu\u00e9 lugar m\u00e1s fant\u00e1stico es este! Ahora, la mejor parte ... una noche me pidieron que ayudara voluntariamente en un baile de residentes esa noche. Por supuesto, s\u00ed fue mi respuesta. La decisi\u00f3n m\u00e1s importante que tom\u00e9. Mientras estaba ayudando en el baile, mir\u00e9 a lo largo del amplio comedor y all\u00ed estaba ella. Sentada en su silla de ruedas, encantadora como puede ser, luciendo hermosa. Entonces este t\u00edmido (yo) se trag\u00f3 su bulto y, donde tuvo el valor de hacer lo que hizo, nunca lo sabr\u00e1. De hecho, me acerqu\u00e9 a ella casi rodilla a rodilla y le pregunt\u00e9 si le gustar\u00eda bailar (\u00a1y no s\u00e9 bailar!). Ella (Linda) dijo que s\u00ed. Nos fuimos. Bailando, eso es.<\/p>\n<p>Linda y yo hemos vivido aqu\u00ed en este lugar durante 10 a\u00f1os. Solo nos tom\u00f3 4 a\u00f1os reunirnos. Y minutos para enamorarse. Live ha sido hermoso desde entonces.<\/p>\n<p>Este septiembre, tendr\u00e9 90 a\u00f1os de juventud, y todo se debe a mi bella Linda. Nunca la hubiera conocido si no fuera por ti y tu ayuda para encontrar este hermoso lugar para vivir.
