Lydia Gray-Holifield Awarded Hostetter-Habib Family Award by Family Equality Council<\/h1>\n

Impact NW’s DEI Director, Lydia Gray-Holifield, was recently awarded the Hostetter-Habib Family Award by the Family Equality Council<\/a> at their annual Night at the Pier<\/a>. Lydia was honored due to her work to increase visibility for Black and Brown LGBTQ+ parents, help eliminate barriers, and create new pathways to access community needs.<\/p>\n

Flying from Portland to New York\u2019s Chelsea Pier, Lydia and her family walked on stage on May 16, 2022 to a standing ovation of more than 600 people. Family Equality\u2019s Night at the Pier is a celebration of LGBTQ+ families and the people and organizations that have made an impact. Past honorees have included Katie Couric, Lisa Cholodenko, Lee Daniels, Chely Wright & Lauren BlitzerWright, Scott Ellis, Sergio Trujillo, Broadway musicals Dear Evan Hansen, The Prom, and Ain\u2019t Too Proud, Daryl Roth, Nick Scandalios, and more.<\/p>\n
