Los servicios de guarder\u00eda en el hogar, relevo y cuidado de adultos pueden organizarse para brindar alivio temporal a los cuidadores de aquellos que no pueden cuidar de s\u00ed mismos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Programa de Apoyo para Cuidadores Familiares<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nuestro Programa de Apoyo para Cuidadores Familiares brinda capacitaci\u00f3n, grupos de apoyo, respiro y asistencia suplementaria a cuidadores no remunerados de personas mayores y abuelos que son tutores de ni\u00f1os menores de edad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Entrenamiento para Consultores de Cuidadores de Alzheimer STAR-C<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Este programa intensivo de doce semanas basado en la evidencia apoya a los cuidadores que brindan atenci\u00f3n a las personas que padecen la enfermedad de Alzheimer. El consultor brinda capacitaci\u00f3n individualizada y consulta a los cuidadores mediante la identificaci\u00f3n de comportamientos resistentes de la persona a cargo y ayuda al cuidador a modificar el plan de atenci\u00f3n para cambiar los resultados.<\/p>\n<p>Los estudiantes de enfermer\u00eda se re\u00fanen con los clientes uno a uno para evaluar sus necesidades y desarrollar planes de atenci\u00f3n para ayudarlos con sus reg\u00edmenes de medicamentos. Ofrecemos una variedad de talleres educativos, incluyendo una clase de finanzas, as\u00ed como celebraciones culturales como Mardi Gras y Cinco de Mayo.
