What A Decade It’s Been!<\/h1>\n

Here’s a look back at a few highlights:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Impact<\/p>\n

Over the last ten years we’ve worked to become a more culturally responsive organization by; developing an agency-wide Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion<\/a> policy; increasing staff and board member diversity; and prioritizing ongoing education and training.<\/p>\n

We partnered with\u00a0Providence<\/a>, to implement a Community\u00a0Resource Desk<\/a> at five sites across the Portland Metro Area. These resource desks help to address the social determinants of health by meeting at-risk community members where they are and working to build trusting relationships.<\/p>\n

\"Poster<\/p>\n

We expanded our housing services to Clark and Clackamas counties.<\/p>\n

We implemented Parent Leadership programming, ensuring that\u00a0parents have a voice in program design and implementation.\"Family<\/p>\n

We began working with local youth interested in careers in manufacturing<\/a>, helping them to\u00a0develop skills and competencies for long-term success.<\/p>\n

And through our Career Opportunites Readiness & Exploration<\/a>\u00a0program, hundreds of local youth have taken action and begun their journey to opportunity and stability.<\/p>\n

\"Students<\/p>\n

We strengthened our Supportive Services for Veterans and their families, and we spent each Veteran’s Day building \u0623\u0637\u0642\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u062a\u0623\u062b\u064a\u0631<\/a>\u00a0with local organizations and supporters.<\/p>\n

And we continued to serve at-risk youth through the \u0645\u062f\u0627\u0631\u0633 \u0627\u0644\u0645\u062c\u062a\u0645\u0639 \u0635\u0646<\/a>\u00a0program.<\/p>\n

\"Seniors<\/em><\/p>\n

Over the decade we provided more than 140,000 rides for seniors to medical and recreational appointments.<\/p>\n

And we had some fun along the way!<\/em><\/p>\n

In 2019, we implemented a new strategic plan and rebranded.<\/p>\n

\"Impact<\/p>\n

From 2010 to 2020, Impact NW’s total revenue increased by 50%, private contributions more than doubled, we received our largest legacy gift to date, and we partnered with thousands more community members as a result.<\/p>\n

Together, we can continue to make an impact and strengthen our community over the next decade.<\/p>\n
