AKA Science kits are geared towards grades K-6, and provide all of the curriculum and supplies for eight weeks of science education. The program supports 900-1200 youth per year by training class leaders to deliver the program\u2019s enriching educational experiences in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in their afterschool programs. &nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/impactnw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG_3653.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12146\" srcset=\"https:\/\/impactnw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG_3653.jpg 480w, https:\/\/impactnw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG_3653-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/impactnw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG_3653-450x600.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe point is [for students to have] fun,\u201d says Sechrist. \u201cIt really builds their confidence &#8211;
