makers gone proIn celebration of National Manufacturing Day, about 145 East County students participated in the Makers Gone Pro event Thursday, Oct. 2nd. Impact NW’s Pathways to Manufacturing program hosts this event in partnership with the Center for Advanced Learning.

In addition to the interactive stations, students learned about casting and 3D printers and scanners as they mingled with “tinkerers” and inventors. The event preceded Mt. Hood Community College’s Manufacturing Day celebration, held Saturday, Oct. 4.
