KGW Channel 8 features Impact NW’s Kelly SUN School Food Pantry program which provides groceries to 60+ families each month. To view the news segment, click on the video below.
Kelly SUN School’s Food Bank addresses the pervasive hunger problem among thousands of our community’s children by providing nutritious food to families struggling to make ends meet.
How Can I Help?
The Kelly Food Pantry is always desperate for funds to help purchase fresh fruit, milk, cheese and vegetables that accompany the canned, bulk and frozen foods we purchase for the food bank. We estimate the cost of providing a box of groceries to one family for one week is $10.00, thanks to the discounts and donations we receive from our community partners. That means that the cost of sponsoring one family for an entire month is only $40.00. Rest assured that 100% of your contribution will be spent on nutritious food.
Many of the families we help through the Kelly Food Pantry are struggling to make ends meet. Some are homeless; others can barely make rent or pay their utility bills, or may need medical assistance they cannot afford. Your donation will help provide emergency assistance to families during a critical time of need.

Thank you for joining us in this critical effort to ensure that our youngest neighbors will increasingly answer “yes” when asked “do you know when you will eat your next meal?” Together, we can pave the pathway to prosperity for everyone in this community in which we live.
