SUCCESSFUL FIRST THURSDAY

Thank you for a successful First Thursday Reception featuring the Parent Child Involvement Program and Communities for Safe Kids

Over 60 people attended this intimate event, where we heard the inspiring and emotional story of a resilient survivor of domestic violence who, thanks to the Parent Child Involvement Program, today is helping other women follow her lead toward a healthy tomorrow for both herself and her family. Communities for Safe Kids was officially unveiled, marrying the best of Kids on the Block Awareness Program and Listen to Kids prevention programs in a cutting edge, multi-faceted school based intervention sponsored by PGE, The Lamb Family Foundation and Yoshida’s Sand in the City, among others.

We hope this evening was a first in a series of special events centered on specific Impact NW programs.
